   Earwyn Fernhan hates the ocean. Ironic, considering his name means 'friend of the sea'. His father and grandfather had once sailed this sea. When it steals his father, Earwyn vows he will forget and erase the legacy.

   Ten years later, a tragedy forces him away from his new mountain home, on a journey to the shores of the past. His childish promise seems impossible to keep. Earwyn fights to regain control of his future, but every wind seems to be pushing him back towards the sea.
